St. Alphonsa Kisau Girls Senior School is a public girls' boarding school in Kalimani, Kisau Division, Mbooni East Sub-County, Makueni County. A Catholic-sponsored, extra-county school under the Catholic Diocese of Wote, it has grown into a vibrant community of more than 1,200 students.
The school was started in 1983 by elders from the local community as a way of giving back and providing secondary education to girls from the region. It opened as a day school with just 17 students under its first head teacher, Mr. Kiseve, and was registered a double-stream girls' boarding school the same year. It rose to provincial status in 2009 and to extra-county status in 2018, and continues to grow from strength to strength.
